Job Description

The Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions will be responsible for conducting and supervising prosecutions on behalf of the state. The role involves ensuring that criminal cases are handled professionally, efficiently, and in accordance with the law.

Key duties include reviewing investigation files, making decisions on prosecution, and conducting prosecutions in courts of law. The position holder will also supervise subordinate prosecutors and provide guidance on legal and procedural matters.

The role involves liaising with investigative agencies, courts, and other stakeholders to ensure effective administration of justice. The Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions will also participate in the development of prosecution policies, guidelines, and strategies.
