Innovation Ticker Hiring Data Enumerators

The Data Enumerator will support the ongoing endline evaluation by conducting qualitative data collection activities between January to March 2026 in assigned countries (Brazil, Kenya, Palestinian Authority, Ghana, Mozambique, Burkina Faso, Uganda, and Ethiopia).

Data Enumerators will be responsible for carrying out interviews with key stakeholders to contribute to a comprehensive assessment of program outcomes and impact.

The consultancy will require a level of effort of 30 to 60 days over the course of three months (January 25, 2026 through April 24, 2026).

Responsibilities
  • Conduct 6 to 8 qualitative interviews per assigned locations, including interviews with community representatives, duty bearers, and relevant external stakeholders.
  • Carry out interviews primarily via phone or online platforms; in-person interviews may be conducted where feasible and appropriate.
  • Produce high-quality interview transcripts in English, including accurate translation and data cleaning as required.
  • Adhere to ethical research standards and data quality requirements throughout the data collection process.
  • Coordinate with local authorities and the evaluation team to ensure timely completion of assigned interviews.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in social sciences, business administration, or a related field
  • Experience conducting qualitative interviews for research, monitoring, or evaluation purposes.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible experience in field work, data collection, and management
  • Familiarity with data collection in local or community-based settings.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with data quality assurance and translation is an asset.
  • Access to reliable internet and communication tools.
  • Ability to produce accurate and well-structured interview transcripts in English.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, communication, and facilitation skills in English
Preferred
  • Familiarity with countries in the Global South, Latin America, and the Middle East (preferred)
  • Knowledge of local or secondary languages (a plus)
