Waitstaff
The Waitstaff role is responsible for delivering excellent food and beverage service to customers in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The position focuses on ensuring guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service in line with Java House service standards.
Present menu options to guests and lead suggestive selling based on customer preferences
• Assist guests in navigating the menu comfortably
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them according to ticket specifications
• Serve orders neatly and in a timely manner
• Present bills promptly and process payments accurately
• Return correct change to guests within the shortest time possible
• Attend to tables continuously to ensure guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and condiments
• Assist with station setup and breakdown as required

Host/ Hostess
- Meet, greet, and seat all guests in the restaurant.
- Organize and reserve tables for large groups and bookings
- Ensure that key service touch points are checked.
- Maintain clean menus, baby chairs, crockery, and cutlery in takeaway stations.
- Ensure all seated and takeaway guests are addressed.
- Assist the manager and chef in any communications of specials for the day and run-outs
- Ensure necessary orders for proper mise-en-place are given to the manager for ordering.
- Assist in taking and fulfilling takeaway orders via phone.
- Ensures guests’ needs are met in the entire dining experience.
- Contribute to the team effort to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Bid farewell to the guests on their exiting the branch.
