The National Syndemic Diseases Control Council (NSDCC) is a State Corporation established pursuant to Section 3 of the State Corporations Act, Cap. 446, through the National Syndemic Diseases Control Council Order (Legal Notice No. 170 of 1999). The Council is mandated to lead and coordinate Kenya’s multisectoral response to HIV and other syndemic diseases, working in collaboration with government institutions, development partners, civil society, and the private sector.
In fulfilling this mandate, the Council plays a central role in policy coordination, programme oversight, resource mobilization, accountability, and health systems strengthening aimed at reducing disease burden and improving population health outcomes across the country.
The Council is seeking to recruit highly motivated, dynamic, and results-oriented professionals of high integrity to fill various vacant positions on contract terms of service. These positions support strategic leadership, programme implementation, governance, finance, supply chain management, human resources, accountability, and administrative functions critical to the Council’s operations at national and regional levels.

1. Director, Finance and Grants Management

The Director, Finance and Grants Management will provide overall leadership and strategic oversight of the Council’s financial management and grants administration functions.
Key responsibilities include overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and expenditure control; managing donor-funded grants and ensuring compliance with funding agreements; strengthening financial controls and accountability systems; overseeing financial reporting and audit processes; advising senior management on financial risk management; coordinating grant disbursement and utilization tracking; ensuring compliance with public finance regulations; and supporting strategic decision-making through financial analysis and reporting.
2. Deputy Director, Internal Audit

This role provides leadership in the internal audit function to ensure effective governance, risk management, and internal control systems.

3. Deputy Director, Supply Chain Management

4. Deputy Director, Health Products and Technologies Coordination

5. Deputy Director, Preventive and Curative Programme
