The Deputy Director, Legal Services will provide strategic legal leadership and oversight across the Authority’s operations. The role is responsible for coordinating legal advisory services, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting corporate governance at senior management level.
Key duties and responsibilities include providing legal advice on contracts, infrastructure projects, land acquisition, and public-private partnerships; overseeing litigation and dispute resolution processes involving the Authority; reviewing and approving legal documents, agreements, and statutory instruments; advising management on compliance with national laws, regulations, and policies; supporting Board and committee functions through legal input; supervising legal officers and clerical staff; and contributing to policy development and institutional risk management.
2. Land Surveyor

The Land Surveyor will support surveying functions related to road development, land acquisition, and infrastructure planning.
Responsibilities include conducting land and route surveys for road projects; preparing and interpreting survey plans and maps; establishing and maintaining survey control points; supporting wayleave acquisition and boundary determination; verifying land dimensions and coordinates for compensation and valuation processes; assisting in resolving boundary disputes; and maintaining accurate survey records in compliance with statutory requirements.
3. GIS Officer

The GIS Officer will manage spatial data systems to support planning, monitoring, and decision-making across road infrastructure projects.
Duties include developing and maintaining GIS databases; collecting, analyzing, and visualizing spatial data related to road networks; supporting mapping and geospatial analysis for planning and monitoring; integrating GIS outputs with other information systems; producing thematic maps and reports; ensuring data accuracy and consistency; and supporting departments with geospatial information needs.
4. Business Development Officer II

This role supports the Authority’s strategic growth initiatives and resource mobilization efforts.
