The National Research Centre (NCRC) is a State Corporation established by the National Crime Research Centre Act No. 4 of 1997.
The Centre is mandated to carry out research into causes of crime, its prevention and to disseminate the research findings and recommendations to Government Agencies concerned with the administration of criminal justice and other relevant stakeholders.

Application Procedure
Interested applicants are required to submit their applications through the NCRC recruitment portal, accessible at recruitment.crimeresearch.go.ke. All applications must be received by the Centre on or before 2nd March 2026 at 5.00 PM (East African Time).

Successful candidates will be required to provide the following clearance documents:
a) Certificate of Clearance from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)
b) Certificate of Clearance from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
c) Valid Tax Compliance Certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
d) Duly filled and stamped Self-Declaration/Clearance Form from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
The Self-Declaration Form submitted to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) must clearly indicate the specific position for which the declaration is being made.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and invited for interview.
