Position 1: Deputy Director, Finance & Accounts

Position Overview
The Deputy Director, Finance & Accounts is a senior leadership role responsible for providing strategic direction, oversight, and management of the Academy’s financial operations. The role ensures sound financial governance, compliance with applicable public finance laws and standards, effective budgeting, accurate reporting, and prudent resource utilization.
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services or equivalent senior authority, the Deputy Director will oversee the finance and accounting function, strengthen internal controls, support institutional planning processes, and ensure alignment with national public finance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
• Provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of the Academy’s financial management framework.
• Lead the preparation of annual budgets, medium-term expenditure frameworks, and financial projections aligned to institutional strategic plans.
• Advise senior management and the Board on financial sustainability, cost optimization, and revenue management strategies.

Position Overview
The Deputy Director, ICT is responsible for providing strategic leadership in the development, implementation, and management of the Academy’s information and communication technology systems. The role ensures the reliability, security, and scalability of ICT infrastructure to support institutional operations, digital learning platforms, data management, and enterprise systems.
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services or equivalent authority, the Deputy Director, ICT will spearhead digital transformation initiatives, cybersecurity governance, ICT policy implementation, and integration of technology solutions aligned to institutional strategy.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
ICT Strategy and Governance
• Develop and implement the Academy’s ICT strategy aligned with institutional goals and national digital transformation priorities.
