We are now hiring for the following positions:
1. Safaricom Care Desk Representatives
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers at the Safaricom Care Desk, providing assistance and resolving inquiries.
- Handle customer requests related to Safaricom services, including mobile plans, billing, and troubleshooting.
- Process M-Pesa transactions, including deposits and withdrawals, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Guide customers on Safaricom products and services, helping them make informed decisions.
- Maintain records of customer interactions, transactions, and follow-up actions.
- Work closely with team members to manage customer feedback and escalate issues as needed.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging customer interactions.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Safaricom services and products is an advantage.
2. Phone Repair Technicians
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair smartphones and other electronic devices, including screen replacements, battery repairs, and software troubleshooting.
- Ensure all devices are in proper working order after repairs, conducting thorough checks.
- Maintain an organized repair area and keep tools and equipment well-maintained.
- Record repair details, including parts used and labor hours, for each service.
- Stay updated on the latest phone models and repair techniques.
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent knowledge of phone hardware and software.
- Attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Ability to interact professionally with customers and explain repair processes.
3. Shop Assistants
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing electronics, mobile phones, and accessories.
- Help customers understand product features, specifications, and prices.
- Process transactions at the point of sale (POS), ensuring accuracy.
- Maintain product displays and ensure the shop is well-stocked and organized.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and warranty claims as per store policies.
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with a helpful and approachable demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of electronics and mobile devices.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy retail environment.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
