1. Safaricom Care Desk Representatives
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance at the Safaricom Care Desk.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, addressing customer concerns, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Handle customer requests related to Safaricom services, including mobile plans, internet packages, billing, and product troubleshooting.
- Process and manage M-Pesa transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and account management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure all Safaricom products and services are correctly explained to customers, helping them make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with other team members to manage customer feedback and ensure that all issues are escalated to the appropriate departments when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and any follow-up actions taken.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor to ensure smooth operations of the Safaricom Care Desk.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a telecommunications or retail setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging customer interactions professionally.
- Knowledge of Safaricom services and products is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

2. Phone Repair Technicians
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair smartphones and other electronic devices that may have hardware or software issues, including screen replacements, battery repairs, water damage fixes, and system troubleshooting.
- Conduct thorough checks on devices to ensure proper functionality after repairs and ensure all devices are in good working order before returning them to customers.
- Keep updated on the latest phone models, software updates, and repair techniques to provide the highest level of service.
- Assist customers with their repair needs by explaining the process, offering advice on how to care for their devices, and providing warranty information.
- Maintain an organized repair area, ensuring tools and equipment are well-maintained and stored securely.
- Record all repairs and ensure accurate documentation of parts used and labor hours for each service.
- Handle all devices with care and follow all safety and security guidelines to protect both customers’ property and the repair environment.
- Continuously learn about new mobile technologies and repair methods to ensure high-quality service.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong understanding of phone hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
- A diploma or certification in electronics, IT, or a related field is an advantage.
- Ability to diagnose issues and provide efficient solutions quickly.
- Attention to detail, with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and explain repair options clearly.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience with different smartphone brands (Samsung, Apple, Huawei, etc.) is a plus.

3. Shop Assistants
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in selecting and purchasing electronics, mobile phones, and accessories.
- Ensure the shop is well-organized, clean, and properly stocked with products.
- Help customers with their inquiries regarding product features, specifications, prices, and availability.
- Assist in setting up products and demonstrations to allow customers to understand the functionality of various items.
- Process customer transactions at the point of sale (POS), ensuring accuracy in pricing and payment methods.
- Monitor stock levels and work with the store manager to reorder products as needed.
- Support the marketing and promotional efforts by setting up product displays and in-store promotions.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and warranty claims in accordance with store policies and procedures.
- Ensure all products are correctly priced and displayed, with attention to details such as labels and product information.
- Perform stock checks and assist in inventory management to ensure products are always available for customers.
- Work with other team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to store performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-centric attitude.
- Basic knowledge of electronics and mobile devices is preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain focus in a busy retail environment.
- A good team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to use basic point-of-sale systems and handle cash transactions.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
