We are currently hiring for the following positions:


1. Cashier/Supervisor

As a Cashier/Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth customer transactions and maintaining operational excellence in the restaurant. Your duties will include:

  • Customer Service Excellence: Greet customers, process orders, handle payments, and provide assistance in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Supervisor Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the cashier area and staff, ensuring a smooth operation during peak hours. You will be the point of contact for customer service issues and will ensure that all processes align with company standards.
  • Team Coordination: Assist in managing cashiers and other front-of-house staff, helping to guide them and ensure their efficiency and effectiveness during shifts.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate cash register records and handle daily reconciliation of sales.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a cashier or supervisory role.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

2. Security Officer

The Security Officer will be responsible for the safety and security of the restaurant, staff, and guests. The role involves:

  • Surveillance Monitoring: Monitor surveillance cameras to detect and respond to any security threats.
  • Patrols: Regularly patrol the premises to ensure the safety of the building and its occupants.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies and assist in managing situations like accidents, fights, or potential theft.
  • Customer Interaction: Ensure the safety of guests while maintaining a friendly, approachable demeanor.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in security or law enforcement is a plus.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.

3. Kitchen Steward

The Kitchen Steward will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment. Responsibilities include:

  • Dishwashing: Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils used in food preparation. Ensure all items are properly sanitized and ready for use.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, surfaces, and storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Properly dispose of food waste and ensure that waste bins are emptied regularly.
  • Stocking: Assist in storing kitchen supplies, such as food ingredients and cleaning materials, in an organized manner.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to work long shifts.

4. General Cleaner

As a General Cleaner, your main responsibility will be maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant, ensuring a pleasant environment for both customers and staff. Your duties will include:

  • Cleaning Dining Areas: Sweep, mop, and clean dining tables and chairs to keep the restaurant looking neat and inviting.
  • Restroom Maintenance: Ensure restrooms are consistently clean, stocked with necessary supplies, and free from any unpleasant odors.
  • General Maintenance: Assist in maintaining cleanliness in common areas, ensuring that high standards are met at all times.
  • Support: Assist other staff as needed in keeping the restaurant tidy and in order during busy periods.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting and bending.

5. Cook’s

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals to the highest standards. Key duties include:

  • Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients, sauces, and garnishes for cooking.
  • Cooking: Cook meals based on restaurant recipes and customer preferences, ensuring proper cooking times and temperatures.
  • Menu Adherence: Ensure consistency in the preparation and presentation of dishes as per the restaurant’s standard.
  • Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness in the cooking area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in food preparation and cooking.
  • Ability to follow recipes and work efficiently under pressure.
  • A passion for cooking and food.

6. Head Cook

The Head Cook will oversee the kitchen’s operations, ensuring that all meals are prepared to perfection. Responsibilities include:

  • Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring all tasks are carried out efficiently and safely.
  • Menu Planning: Help develop and update the menu, working closely with other staff to ensure variety and quality.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard and are consistent in taste and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory, ordering supplies as needed to ensure the kitchen operates smoothly.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a head cook or in a supervisory role in a kitchen.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

7. Waiter/Waitress

As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be the face of Glovino’s Grill & Chill, ensuring that customers receive exceptional service. Duties include:

  • Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner.
  • Menu Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about the menu and recommend dishes or drinks to customers.
  • Order Accuracy: Ensure customer orders are accurately entered into the system and delivered to the kitchen in a timely manner.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clear tables and ensure the dining area remains clean and organized.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a waitstaff position is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle high-volume service.

8. Shop Attendant

The Shop Attendant will manage customer interactions in the retail section, ensuring that the shop area is organized and products are available. Your duties will include:

  • Customer Assistance: Help customers find products, answer queries, and provide recommendations.
  • Stock Management: Keep track of stock levels, restock shelves, and ensure products are displayed neatly.
  • Sales Transactions: Handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Store Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the store area.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to operate a point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
