The 2026-2027 scholarship application period for school grants and financial assistance for Accompanying Persons (AESH) is now open. Families can apply for support through the Scolaide platform for French children attending AEFE-approved schools, including Lycée Français Denis Diderot and École Française de Runda.
Eligibility Criteria:
- For School Grant:
- The child must be of French nationality.
- The child must be at least 3 years old during the calendar year of the school start (i.e., by December 31, 2026).
- The child and parent must be registered with the Register of French Nationals Living Abroad.
- The family must reside in the consular district.
- The child must be registered or in the process of registering in an AEFE-approved school.
- The family must no longer receive family benefits from the CAF (for families recently in France, a deregistration certificate is mandatory).
- For AESH Assistance:
- The child must have a disability rate exceeding 50%, recognized by the MDPH (Departmental Center for Disabled Persons).
- The child must require human assistance within the school environment.
Important Dates:
- Deadline: Submit your application by February 28, 2026.
- Renewal: Applications must be submitted annually during the first application period.
