- General Manager – KTDA Power (One Position)
The General Manager will provide overall strategic leadership, operational oversight, and commercial direction for KTDA Power. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient power generation, financial sustainability, stakeholder management, and long-term business growth aligned with corporate objectives.
Role Purpose
The General Manager will oversee all operational, financial, technical, and administrative functions of KTDA Power. The position requires strong executive leadership capability, experience in energy infrastructure development, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams while maintaining regulatory compliance and financial discipline.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Governance
Provide strategic direction and leadership in line with KTDA Power’s mandate and long-term growth strategy.
Develop and implement corporate plans, annual operating budgets, and performance targets.
Advise the Board on operational performance, capital investments, and risk exposure.
Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards and regulatory frameworks.
Operations and Technical Oversight
Oversee power generation projects, including hydropower plant operations and maintenance.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is desirable.
Minimum of ten (10) years’ progressive experience in senior management, preferably within the energy or infrastructure sector.
Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, financial management, and project oversight.

The Head of Data Analysis and Management will lead the organization’s data governance framework, analytics strategy, and reporting systems to support evidence-based decision-making across KTDA Power’s operations and projects.

The position is responsible for establishing robust data systems, managing performance dashboards, strengthening analytics capabilities, and ensuring data integrity across business units.

- Manager, Resource Mobilization and Business Development (One Position)
The Manager, Resource Mobilization and Business Development will spearhead efforts to secure funding, build strategic partnerships, and identify new growth opportunities for KTDA Power.
Role Purpose
The role is responsible for developing financing strategies, managing donor and investor relationships, and driving business expansion initiatives to enhance organizational sustainability.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Resource Mobilization Strategy
Develop and implement a comprehensive resource mobilization plan.
Identify funding opportunities from development finance institutions, commercial banks, and climate funds.
Prepare funding proposals, investment briefs, and partnership agreements.
Investor and Donor Engagement
Build and maintain relationships with financiers and development partners.
Coordinate due diligence processes and funding negotiations.
Ensure compliance with reporting requirements linked to financed projects.
Business Development and Market Expansion
Identify new renewable energy investment opportunities.

The Manager, Programmes Management, Impact, Reporting and Learning will oversee project planning, monitoring and evaluation, impact assessment, and organizational learning frameworks across KTDA Power’s portfolio.

The position is responsible for strengthening programme management systems, ensuring accountability for results, and institutionalizing learning mechanisms to enhance project effectiveness.
