- Assistant Director, Accounts

The Assistant Director, Accounts will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations within the Authority and ensuring that financial records are accurate, timely, and compliant with established regulations and standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and maintenance of financial records, reports, and statements in line with applicable accounting standards
- Coordinate the preparation of periodic financial reports including monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts
- Ensure compliance with public financial management regulations and internal financial policies
- Supervise accounting staff and provide guidance on financial procedures and reporting requirements

- Provide legal advisory services to management and departments on various operational and strategic matters

- Develop and implement quality assurance frameworks and systems across the Authority
- Ensure compliance with national and international regulatory standards governing medical supplies
- Oversee quality control processes including inspection, testing, and certification of health commodities
- Lead research initiatives aimed at improving product quality and supply chain efficiency
- Coordinate regulatory approvals and maintain compliance with relevant authorities
- Monitor and evaluate quality assurance performance and implement corrective actions where necessary
- Provide technical guidance on quality and regulatory matters to internal and external stakeholders
