Christ Is the Answer Ministries [CITAM] is an English-speaking Pentecostal church committed to a holistic Gospel that impacts society in every sphere of life. Currently, CITAM has 36 assemblies in Kenya and 5 outside Kenya and provides quality education through 12 CITAM Schools and PAC University. The Ministry runs a Farm, CITAM Kadolta Resort, Catering Units, CITAM Outfitters, the CITAM Children’s Center, Mission Stations in Northern Kenya, provides value-based media services through Hope FM, Hope Recording Studios, Hope Creatives & Digital, Hope TV, and CITAM Church Online among other social media platforms.
JOB SUMMARY
CITAM seeks to recruit a born-again and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Sound Technician. He/She shall facilitate assembly multimedia management, manage the assembly digital space and provide first level ICT support for the assembly to ensure efficiency and seamless flow of physical and digital support.
The position reports to the Finance and Administration Officer (FAO).
Key Responsibilities and Responsibilities:
- Provide audio visual support during church services, both online and in person, missions, and other functions.
- Create and produce content for local assembly and run social media accounts.
- Maintain the audiovisual system in a serviceable state of repair, keep an up-to-date inventory, and give a periodic report.
- Maintain an online library, cataloguing of assembly content
- Set targets, monitor performance, disciple, coach, and mentor media/volunteer workers
- Recommend system upgrades as need arises to CITAM leadership.
- Provide first level ICT support to the assembly staff.
- Develop and maintain a proper record keeping system for easy retrieval and sustenance of the institutional memory.

- Must be a born-again, mature Christian who conforms to the CITAM statement of faith.
- Diploma in Sound Production and Electronics /Telecommunications (Electrical) engineering /Journalism and Media Studies/Mass communication or ICT related course.
- 5 years’ experience in sound systems in a church or production firm.
- Creative and innovative, diligent, self-motivated, honest, and hard working.
- Basic skills in graphics design, videography, photography, and social media management.
- Ability to operate various mixing consoles, both analogue and digital and conversant with live streaming, projection, and power rating.
- Strong communication skills and a team player.
- A valid driving License with 3 years driving experience, PSV is an added advantage.
