The Co-operative University of Kenya (CUK) in partnership with Moshi Cooperative University,
Tanzania, is conducting a research study on strengthening producer organisations (Agricultural
cooperatives, CBOs and SHGs) in Kenya and Tanzania. The study is supported by Hand in Hand
International (HiHI) and aims to generate data that will enable Hand in Hand Eastern Africa to
design and test approaches of supporting institutions (SHGs, CBOs, and cooperatives) that
create an enabling environment for entrepreneurs
