EACO is seeking a visionary and results-driven leader to take up the pivotal role of Executive Director (ED). The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction and overseeing the organization’s operations to ensure the continuous achievement of its mission and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Executive Director, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Serving as the Accounting Officer for EACO, overseeing financial operations and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Acting as Secretary to the EACO Executive Committee, ensuring proper documentation of meetings and decisions.
- Providing strategic leadership to the organization, ensuring continuous achievement of EACO’s mission, vision, and operational goals.
- Overseeing the development and execution of strategic plans, annual budgets, and action plans.
- Implementing effective monitoring and control systems for all EACO programs and projects.
- Ensuring compliance with international regulatory frameworks and enhancing service delivery.
- Acting as the spokesperson of EACO on operational matters and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Promoting best practices in corporate governance, ethical conduct, and professionalism.
- Managing and mentoring a high-performing team while fostering an inclusive and dynamic work culture.
- Ensuring a robust information database for ICT industry trends, facilitating knowledge dissemination.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
To be considered for this exciting leadership role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Academic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Applied and Physical Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, Business, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- A Master’s degree in any of the above fields.
Professional Experience:
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant work experience, with at least five (5) years in a senior management position.
- Regional or international work experience will be an added advantage.
