Role Summary
Field Enumerators will be responsible for collecting primary data from the community through surveys, interviews, and other data collection methods. Their role is crucial in gathering accurate and comprehensive data to support project objectives.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct structured and semi-structured interviews with community members.
2. Administer surveys using both digital and paper-based tools.
3. Accurately record responses, ensuring data quality and completeness.
4. Build rapport with respondents to encourage honest and open communication.
5. Report daily progress and any challenges encountered to the Research Assistants.
6. Assist in the organization and execution of community workshops and focus groups.
7. Perform quality checks on collected data to identify and address inconsistencies.
8. Provide feedback on data collection tools to improve usability and effectiveness.
9. Ensure confidentiality and ethical handling of respondent information.
10. Collaborate with team members to address logistical issues during field activities.
11. Maintain detailed records of field activities and observations.
12. Contribute to the preparation of field reports and presentations.
Qualifications
● Diploma in a social field; additional training in data collection preferred.
● Experience in conducting surveys and interviews in a community setting.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
