Equity Afia is a network of medical centers in Kenya that provides high-quality, affordable healthcare services. It is an initiative of Equity Group Foundation (EGF), established with the goal of increasing access to standardized, professional, and affordable healthcare for all Kenyans.
Equity Afia operates through a franchise model, allowing qualified medical professionals—mainly alumni of the Equity Leaders Program (ELP)—to set up and run clinics across the country. This approach ensures the expansion of healthcare services while promoting entrepreneurship among medical professionals.
The medical centers offer a wide range of services, including general outpatient care, maternal and child health services, laboratory tests, pharmacy, specialized consultations, and wellness programs. By integrating technology and adhering to high medical standards, Equity Afia aims to improve healthcare outcomes and contribute to Kenya’s Universal Health Coverage (UHC) goals.
With a growing network of clinics in both urban and rural areas, Equity Afia continues to play a vital role in bridging healthcare gaps, supporting preventive care, and ensuring that quality medical services are accessible to all Kenyans.
