Role Overview
The Project Manager will focus on projects throughout the development lifecycle, from site identification within the master plan to delivering infrastructure for Tatu City and third-party real estate developments. This includes managing budgets, timelines, and resources while coordinating with service providers and ensuring seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver projects on time and within the approved budget.
- Design and implement effective control systems for all projects to ensure compliance with contractual specifications.
- Provide timely and accurate information to support decision-making and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
- Foster a schedule, cost, and risk awareness culture among all project participants.
- Ensure the integration of scheduling, cost control, and risk management functions to achieve project objectives.
- Maintain accurate records and manage client databases and document control systems (including material logs, drawings, RFI logs, etc.).
- Collaborate with client project managers and vendors to prepare technical and project documentation.
- Conduct audits on quality, accuracy, and completeness of project documents and records.
- Establish and oversee project control systems scaled to the complexity of each project.
- Coordinate resources and establish procedures to achieve project objectives.
- Implement project control systems after contract awards and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Develop coding systems and project breakdown structures to meet control requirements.
- Coordinate the implementation of application systems required for project management.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in construction project management.
- Proven expertise in managing multistorey building projects.
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
- Certification in PMP or PRINCE2.
