COMMUNICATION ASSISTANT
Job description
Family Media is seeking an experienced and creative Communication Assistant who will be working closely with the Television, Radio, digital departments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Client & Account Management
- Oversee and coordinate the client onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition and a positive experience.
- Compile, maintain, and distribute client logs, reports, and relevant documentation as needed.
- Track and follow up the collection of outstanding payments to ensure timely processing.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure client mentions, advertisements, and promotions are scheduled and executed as per the order form.
- Marketing & Brand Awareness
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and strengthen the company’s reputation.
- Coordinate and manage company merchandise for marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and corporate branding efforts
- Event Planning & Coordination
- Plan, organize, and oversee company events, ensuring all logistics and execution run smoothly.
- Represent the company at events, conferences, and networking opportunities, serving as a spokesperson when required.
- Sales & Business Development
- Assist the sales team in lead generation, client outreach, and promotional efforts to drive business growth.
- Collaborate on sales strategies and initiatives to enhance customer engagement and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Customer Engagement & Support
- Handle and respond to audience inquiries, feedback, and requests across various communication channels.
- Ensure timely, professional, and customer-focused responses to maintain high levels of client satisfaction and engagement.
- Administrative Duties
- Supplies Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, process orders, and ensure the timely receipt of office and promotional supplies.
- Documentation & Meeting Coordination: Attend meetings, take minutes, track action items, and maintain organized records of important documents.
Requirements and skills
- Minimum 2 years experience in public relations and marketing.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Have experience in event planning and account management
- BA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline
