Reporting to the Insurance Manager, the job holder will be tasked to providing exceptional customer service including efficient and accurate transaction processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Generating leads and converting them into opportunities for member recruitment and savings mobilization
- Contacting potential customers via telephone, email, meetings, face to face and other media platforms
- Arranging meetings with prospective members to demonstrate financial products and services.
- Negotiating periodic savings with potential members
- Paying attention to competitors and their activities within the industry
- Building long-term relationships with new and existing Members
- Ensuring all administration relating to sales and marketing is completed effectively.
- Working closely with other departments and finding opportunities to cross sell products
- Effective (honest & timely) communication to members and potential members
- Effective feedback to your superiors and colleagues regarding sales and marketing activities gathered within and externally from the market.
- Any other duties assigned by Management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Formal Education
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related course.
- C.O.P/Diploma in insurance
- Good knowledge of general insurance products and working knowledge of General and life insurance.
