We are looking for a Junior Machine Operator to join our production team in Nairobi. If you have a strong work ethic, technical expertise, and a passion for maintaining high production standards, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Junior Machine Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient machine operations while maintaining quality, safety, and performance standards.
✔ Set up, monitor, and operate production lines according to standard procedures.
✔ Maintain established quality standards by performing routine quality tests on materials.
✔ Ensure checklists are correctly filled and accurate data is recorded (quality & activities).
✔ Operate machines according to SO38 specifications, report anomalies to Process Engineers, and log issues in the P2 system.
✔ Perform Autonomous Maintenance activities and continuously improve machine performance.
✔ Participate in machine loss eradication efforts, analyze issues, and implement countermeasures.
✔ Advance knowledge in World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and actively engage in team and pillar activities.
✔ Strictly follow Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), ISO, and food hygiene guidelines (BRC standards).
✔ Collaborate in WCM process improvement teams to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a production environment.
Hands-on expertise in production processes and machine operations.
Strong knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
