Key Responsibilities
As an Investment Analyst Intern, you will be actively involved in:
- Conducting fundamental company & investment opportunity research across Real Estate, Private Equity, Structured Products, Equities & Fixed Income.
- Performing financial modeling and data analysis to evaluate investment opportunities.
- Analyzing historical and projected financial statements & investment data to identify trends and investment potential.
- Authoring original investment research reports with market insights.
- Preparing written reports and presentations to communicate investment strategies and recommendations.
- Conducting country, industry, and capital markets research to identify emerging trends and risks.
- Participating in investment strategy evaluation, formulation, and implementation.
- Engaging in investment meetings and review sessions, contributing valuable insights.
- Conducting industry and customer analyses to support the Investment and Business Development teams.
- Assisting clients in developing financial plans as the basis of sound financial advice.
- Preparing presentations for industry events and key stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with all corporate policies and procedures.

- Performing other assigned duties that support the overall investment strategy.
Who We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Hold a minimum Bachelor’s Degree with Upper Second-Class Honours or equivalent.
- Have attained at least a B+ in KCSE or equivalent.
- Be actively pursuing or have made significant progress towards professional qualifications in finance/investments, such as CIFA, CFA, CPA, or CAIA.
- Possess strong analytical skills and quantitative ability.
- Have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and great attention to detail.
- Demonstrate the ability to complete assigned projects with minimal supervision.
- Be able to synthesize information from multiple sources and distill key takeaways to guide decision-making.
