Job Purpose

The Manager, Planning & Strategy will be responsible for formulating and implementing corporate strategic initiatives, monitoring strategic plans, and driving innovation within the Fund. The role also involves managing business process frameworks, ensuring service quality assurance, and overseeing risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and execution of the Fund’s corporate strategy.
  • Conduct periodic strategy reviews, analyzing external and internal factors affecting the Fund.
  • Provide strategic insights to management, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Tactical Responsibilities

  • Guide management on best practices in strategic planning.
  • Align corporate reporting systems with key performance indicators.
  • Enhance service quality, improve training platforms, and oversee key performance metrics.
  • Oversee risk management reviews and customer feedback management.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Facilitate strategic planning processes across departments.
  • Ensure compliance with reporting requirements, linking strategic planning with performance management.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives, mapping member journeys to enhance efficiency.
  • Coordinate business process enhancements, ensuring risk mitigation and operational effectiveness.
  • Develop quality assurance metrics and monitor their implementation across the Fund.
  • Manage the Fund’s Quality Management System (QMS) to drive compliance and efficiency.
  • Implement audit recommendations from ISO, internal, and external audits.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Proven experience in corporate planning and strategy execution.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and work in a cross-functional team.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and expertise in quality management systems (QMS).
  • Strong risk awareness and regulatory compliance knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
