As a Programme Officer within the Strategic Sector Cooperation (SSC) programme focused on Energy, you will play a pivotal role in the Royal Danish Embassy’s work in enhancing energy cooperation between Denmark and Kenya.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of the Strategic Sector Cooperation in the energy sector.
- Collaborate closely with Danish and Kenyan government institutions, including the Ministry of Energy, to drive programme activities.

- Manage housing leases and contracts for Embassy staff, including renewals and compliance with property standards.
- Oversee all procurement activities including tender processes, vendor negotiations, and contract management.
- Ensure that procurement practices are transparent, cost-effective, and in line with Embassy and Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs guidelines.
- Coordinate logistics and hospitality arrangements for high-level visits, including itinerary planning, accommodation, transportation, and protocol.
- Maintain strong relationships with service providers, landlords, and local authorities to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Assist with asset management and inventory tracking of Embassy-owned property.
