1. IT Security Operations Centre Analyst (SOC)

As the IT Security Operations Centre Analyst, you will be at the forefront of our cybersecurity operations, responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats and incidents in real-time. You will work as part of a dynamic team that ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the Bank’s IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor security systems including SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and endpoint detection tools.
  • Conduct real-time analysis and investigation of security alerts, escalations, and incidents.
  • Perform triage and prioritization of security events.
  • Document and escalate incidents according to the Bank’s incident response plan.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to threat intelligence and vulnerability assessment activities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate risks and enhance security controls.

2. Sacco Credit Officer (REF: CO/04/25)

The Sacco Credit Officer is responsible for evaluating, processing, and monitoring credit applications for members of SACCOs under the Bank’s portfolio. The role supports sustainable credit growth while ensuring compliance with credit policies and risk management standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Appraise and process credit applications for SACCO members.
  • Perform credit risk assessments and make informed lending decisions.
  • Maintain credit files and ensure accurate loan documentation.
  • Monitor loan performance and initiate recovery procedures where necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with SACCO clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide financial advisory and training to SACCO members.
  • Ensure adherence to SACCO lending policies and regulatory guidelines.

3. Portfolio Management Officer

As a Portfolio Management Officer, you will be charged with managing the Bank’s investment and loan portfolio, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with risk and return objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor portfolio performance and recommend strategies for optimization.
  • Prepare portfolio performance reports and risk assessments.
  • Support in portfolio diversification and asset allocation planning.
  • Liaise with relationship managers to track loan performance and returns.
  • Conduct research on market trends to support investment decision-making.
  • Evaluate and report on emerging portfolio risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

4. Corporate Credit Analyst

The Corporate Credit Analyst will play a pivotal role in assessing the creditworthiness of corporate clients and ensuring sound credit decisions that support the Bank’s commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze corporate clients’ financial statements, cash flows, and credit history.
  • Develop comprehensive credit proposals and risk assessments.
  • Prepare financial models and conduct sensitivity analyses.
  • Recommend appropriate credit limits and structures for facilities.
  • Support relationship managers in structuring complex credit deals.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, internal policy, and risk management frameworks.
  • Monitor the financial health of approved corporate clients and flag early warning signals.

5. Head – Corporate Credit Risk Analysis

As Head of Corporate Credit Risk Analysis, you will lead the team responsible for evaluating and mitigating credit risk exposures across the corporate portfolio, ensuring strategic risk management and sound lending practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the analysis and review of credit proposals for corporate clients.
  • Develop and implement robust credit risk assessment models and frameworks.
  • Guide the credit risk team in identifying and mitigating credit risks.
  • Review and approve credit recommendations before escalation to credit committees.
  • Collaborate with business units to align credit risk strategies with business goals.
  • Monitor industry and market trends to inform risk appetite and policy decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with risk governance and regulatory requirements.

6. Data Privacy Analyst

As a Data Privacy Analyst, your role will be to ensure that the Bank’s data processing operations comply with all relevant data protection laws and best practices, with a key focus on protecting customer and employee information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor compliance with data protection regulations (including the Data Protection Act).
  • Perform data protection impact assessments for new systems and processes.
  • Develop and implement data privacy policies and training programs.
  • Investigate and respond to data breaches and privacy incidents.
  • Maintain records of data processing activities and ensure transparency.
  • Liaise with legal, compliance, IT, and HR teams to enforce privacy controls.
  • Provide guidance on data sharing, cross-border transfers, and third-party risk.
