The following positions are currently open for applications:
1. Deputy Director, Quality Management Assurance and Risk
Job Description:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction in the development and implementation of the Fund’s Quality Management Systems (QMS), enterprise risk management framework, and internal control policies.
- Oversee the design and implementation of risk management practices that align with the Fund’s overall objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality assurance initiatives and make necessary recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct periodic risk assessments, ensuring proactive risk identification, mitigation planning, and reporting to senior management.
- Lead the preparation and facilitation of internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with applicable quality standards and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate the development of business continuity plans and ensure preparedness in handling risks or disruptions.
- Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the Fund by training staff and integrating quality practices into all operations.
- Report regularly to the Board on quality assurance and risk performance indicators, issues, and mitigation strategies.
2. Deputy Director, Resource Mobilisation & Partnerships
Job Description:
- Lead the formulation and implementation of the Fund’s resource mobilization strategy to diversify and increase financial inflows.
- Identify and build relationships with local and international donors, development partners, private sector investors, and other strategic collaborators.
- Coordinate the preparation and submission of high-quality funding proposals, concept notes, and investment pitches.
- Develop innovative public-private partnership (PPP) models to enhance the Fund’s revenue generation and service delivery.
- Monitor trends in donor funding, philanthropic investments, and government budget allocations to align the Fund’s resource needs accordingly.
- Manage grant compliance, including tracking donor requirements, preparing financial and narrative reports, and ensuring transparency in fund utilization.
- Work closely with the communications team to develop visibility materials and donor engagement tools that showcase the Fund’s impact and potential.
- Represent the Fund in high-level stakeholder forums and partnership development engagements locally and abroad.
3. Deputy Director, Legal Services & Board Coordination
Job Description:
- Provide legal advisory services to the Fund’s Board, management, and departments on all operational, contractual, and regulatory matters.
- Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for internal and external stakeholders to ensure the Fund operates within the legal framework.
- Draft and review contracts, memoranda of understanding, and other legal documents to safeguard the Fund’s interests.
- Liaise with external legal counsel in managing court cases, arbitrations, and legal disputes involving the Fund.
- Develop and implement legal risk management strategies and compliance frameworks.
- Serve as the Secretary to the Board, ensuring effective documentation of board proceedings and compliance with corporate governance standards.
- Coordinate the preparation of board papers, minutes, resolutions, and the timely dissemination of board decisions.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory returns and maintenance of board records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
4. Deputy Director, Finance and Accounts
Job Description:
- Provide strategic leadership in the financial planning, budgeting, and management of the Fund’s financial resources.
- Ensure compliance with the Public Finance Management Act, relevant Treasury regulations, and International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS).
- Oversee the development and implementation of financial systems, controls, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, statements, and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage revenue collection, expenditure control, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
- Facilitate internal and external audits and ensure implementation of audit recommendations.
- Develop and implement cost control measures to enhance efficiency and financial sustainability.
- Advise senior management on financial risk, investment decisions, and opportunities for resource optimization.
- Monitor compliance with tax regulations and ensure accurate and timely remittances.
5. Deputy Director, Information Communication Technology
Job Description:
- Lead the development and implementation of the Fund’s ICT strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and industry best practices.
- Oversee the management of ICT infrastructure, networks, systems, databases, and cybersecurity.
- Plan, design, and implement enterprise systems, including ERP, financial systems, document management, and data analytics tools.
- Ensure data integrity, system reliability, and timely availability of ICT services across departments.
- Formulate and enforce ICT policies, procedures, and user guidelines to enhance digital transformation.
- Drive the adoption of emerging technologies to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify ICT needs, offer solutions, and manage change processes.
- Manage ICT service providers and vendors, ensuring value for money and contractual compliance.
- Ensure compliance with ICT regulations, data protection laws, and international information security standards.
6. Deputy Director, Human Resource Management and Administration
Job Description:
- Provide leadership in the development and implementation of the Fund’s human capital strategy, policies, and programs.
- Oversee recruitment, induction, performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
- Develop and implement organizational development strategies to promote a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and compliance with labour laws.
- Coordinate staff welfare initiatives, including health and wellness programs, insurance schemes, and grievance handling mechanisms.
- Ensure efficient administration of office services, including records management, transport logistics, procurement, and asset management.
- Oversee workplace safety and security protocols in line with legal and institutional requirements.
- Support change management initiatives, leadership development, and employee engagement programs.
- Prepare regular HR reports, workforce analytics, and strategic advice for senior management and the Board.
