Director, Trade Facilitation – KTNA 2 The Director, Trade Facilitation will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight for all matters related to trade facilitation within the agency.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction on national and international trade facilitation initiatives
- Lead the development and implementation of trade facilitation programs
- Coordinate with government agencies, development partners, and private sector stakeholders to streamline trade procedures
- Monitor and evaluate trade facilitation policies and their implementation
- Represent the agency in relevant regional and international forums
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks governing trade
Assistant Manager, Trade Facilitation – KTNA 4 The Assistant Manager, Trade Facilitation will support the Director in implementing trade facilitation strategies and managing stakeholder engagements.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating trade facilitation activities and projects
- Liaise with stakeholders to identify trade-related challenges and propose solutions
- Support the analysis and documentation of trade processes
- Participate in drafting trade facilitation policies and procedures
- Monitor implementation of trade facilitation reforms
- Prepare reports and briefs for internal and external stakeholders
Product and Application Development Officer – KTNA 7 The Product and Application Development Officer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications to support the agency’s mandate.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop web-based applications and system features
- Collaborate with users to gather requirements and provide technical solutions
- Conduct application testing and documentation
- Maintain and update existing applications to ensure optimal performance
- Monitor user feedback and implement improvements
- Ensure data integrity, security, and performance standards are maintained
System Analyst – KTNA 7 The System Analyst will analyze user requirements and provide technical solutions to improve systems efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct systems analysis and define system requirements
- Develop system specifications and workflows
- Liaise with developers to implement system enhancements
- Perform system testing and validation
- Provide support and training to users on new systems and upgrades
- Maintain comprehensive system documentation
Internal Auditor – Information Systems – KTNA 7 The Internal Auditor, Information Systems will be responsible for evaluating IT systems and controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute IT audits in accordance with audit standards
- Assess the effectiveness of IT controls and risk management processes
- Identify vulnerabilities in information systems and recommend solutions
- Prepare audit reports and present findings to management
- Ensure follow-up on audit recommendations
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and risks
ICT Service Support Assistant – KTNA 9 The ICT Service Support Assistant will provide technical support and maintenance for the agency’s IT infrastructure and users.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to end-users
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Maintain and update IT inventory and asset records
- Assist in setting up and configuring workstations and network devices
- Support IT service delivery processes and documentation
- Ensure adherence to IT security and usage policies
Office Assistant – KTNA 11 The Office Assistant will provide general office support and clerical duties to ensure efficient office operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine office duties such as photocopying, filing, and mail delivery
- Support staff with clerical tasks and errands
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of office premises
- Assist in preparation and arrangement of meeting rooms
- Provide hospitality services to visitors and staff
- Report any maintenance issues in the office to the relevant department
