The French Embassy in Kenya has partnered with Rubika Valenciennes—Europe’s leading school in animation studies—to offer an excellence scholarship to one Kenyan animation graduate.
Scholarship Details The selected candidate will undertake a one-year, intensive 3D animation training program at Rubika Valenciennes in France.
Eligibility Criteria
Degree Requirement: Bachelor of Arts (or equivalent) obtained between 2022 and 2025.
Program Availability: Must be available for the full program duration from September 2025 to June 2026.
Skills: High proficiency in 3D animation.
Financial Contribution: The successful applicant will be required to contribute €800 (approximately KES 120,000) towards tuition fees.
Travel Documentation: Must hold a passport valid until at least the end of 2027.

May 26–28, 2025: Finalist interviews conducted via videoconference with an international jury
