About the Internship Role: Vehicle Electronics Engineering Intern
We are seeking a Vehicle Electronics Engineering Intern who is aligned with our mission to revolutionize public transport through electric mobility. This internship is ideal for recent graduates or young professionals with a strong foundation in electrical and electronic systems, particularly those interested in digital electronics, embedded systems, and vehicle telematics.
As a Vehicle Electronics Engineering Intern, you will become an integral part of the Vehicle Engineering team, supporting the design, deployment, and testing of various electronic systems used in BasiGo’s electric vehicles. You will work alongside experienced engineers and gain exposure to the complexities of electric vehicle systems, from firmware development and diagnostics to data analysis and telematics integration.
Responsibilities
As part of your internship at BasiGo, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the engineering and deployment of vehicle telematics solutions, aimed at vehicle monitoring and data collection across the operational vehicle fleets.
- Assisting in identification, evaluation, and resolution of issues related to telematics solutions deployed within BasiGo’s fleet.
- Participating in data collection, validation, and analysis from the deployed vehicle telematics systems to ensure reliability and performance optimization.
- Collaborating with senior engineers to assist in tasks related to digital electronics design, diagnostics, and prototyping.
- Contributing to the development of embedded microcontroller systems, including firmware testing and debugging processes.
- Performing independent test and measurement activities using electronic diagnostic tools and software platforms.
- Assisting in the creation and interpretation of wiring schematics and contributing to the validation of vehicle electronics systems.
- Utilizing data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to summarize and present findings to the engineering team.
- Supporting conceptualization and prototyping of electronic systems used within BasiGo’s electric vehicles.
- Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders under the direction of the Vehicle Engineering Manager and other lead engineers.
- Completing any other tasks related to vehicle electronics as assigned by your supervisors.
