Key Responsibilities for All Faculty Positions
Successful applicants will be expected to:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality learning experiences to undergraduate and graduate students.
- Prepare teaching materials, methodologies, and effectively deliver the curriculum.
- Administer Continuous Assessment Tests (CATs), set and mark examinations.
- Stay updated with developments in their academic discipline and contribute to curriculum development.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research, guiding students through topic development to thesis.
- Maintain accurate academic records, including attendance, assessment, and grading.
- Seek research funding, write grants, and contribute to research outputs through publications and conference participation.
- Collaborate locally and internationally to enhance research and academic excellence.
- Participate in university committees and administrative responsibilities when called upon.
Terms of Engagement
- All positions are part-time, contractual, and attract a competitive remuneration package.
- Successful candidates will be retained in the MKU Associate Faculty database for six years, subject to performance review.
