1. Tupande Procurement Specialist – Strategy & Capability (Kenya)
We are seeking a strategic procurement leader with over five years of experience in managing cross-functional sourcing projects. The successful candidate will work closely with multiple internal departments and external suppliers to establish a best-in-class procurement function that maximizes value, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across various categories including agricultural inputs, logistics, and professional services.
- Develop and implement procurement policies, strategies, and processes aligned with the organization’s long-term goals.
- Use data analytics to optimize procurement systems and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Partner with supply chain, finance, and operations teams to ensure procurement activities support broader organizational goals.
- Establish supplier performance metrics and lead supplier evaluations and negotiations.
- Build internal procurement capability through mentorship, training, and stakeholder engagement.

2. Senior DevOps Engineer (Kenya or Rwanda)
One Acre Fund is looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our technology team. This position is critical for ensuring system reliability, continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD), and scalability of the digital platforms that support our mission to serve farmers efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of DevOps processes and tools.
- Collaborate with software development teams to ensure robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) to manage cloud and on-prem environments.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement long-term solutions.
- Improve automation frameworks and drive adoption of best DevOps practices across the organization.
- Manage security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure.
- Provide mentorship to junior DevOps engineers and contribute to their development.
3. Tupande Market Access Associate (Kenya)
We are hiring a results-oriented Market Access Associate to join the Tupande team. This role involves managing complex projects, ensuring seamless coordination across teams, and identifying innovative solutions to market access challenges for smallholder farmers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate multi-stakeholder projects aimed at improving farmers’ access to markets for their produce.
- Develop and maintain relationships with agribusinesses, off-takers, processors, and cooperatives.
- Conduct market analysis to identify high-potential opportunities for farmer produce.
- Work closely with product and operations teams to align market access strategies with field realities.
- Design and implement pilot projects and scale-up strategies for viable market access models.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of market access programs and suggest improvements.

4. Tupande Soko Chief of Staff (Kenya)
We are looking for a highly organized and strategic Chief of Staff to support the Executive Director of Tupande Soko, our emerging business vertical focused on digital agriculture. This role demands a keen eye for detail, strong project management skills, and the ability to coordinate diverse teams in a high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic advisor to the Executive Director and help translate vision into actionable plans.
- Drive execution of key initiatives by coordinating teams, setting milestones, and ensuring accountability.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and business updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication across departments and support leadership meetings.
- Identify and mitigate risks to project success by addressing bottlenecks proactively.

5. Financial Planning and Reporting Analytics Specialist (Kenya)
This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with at least three years of experience to support financial reporting and planning within One Acre Fund’s Global Finance Advisory Services (FAS) team. The ideal candidate will also leverage Business Intelligence tools for advanced data analysis and decision support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
- Develop and refine financial models to support program planning and forecasting.
- Utilize BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL) to analyze financial and operational data.

6. Tax Lead (Kenya or Rwanda)
We are recruiting a senior tax expert to oversee all taxation matters for One Acre Fund operations in Kenya and Rwanda. This role will ensure compliance with local tax laws and contribute to long-term financial health through proactive tax planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with income tax, VAT, payroll taxes, and other statutory obligations.
- Oversee tax filings, audits, and correspondence with tax authorities in Kenya and Rwanda.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to manage liabilities and ensure efficient operations.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and country leadership teams on complex tax matters.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and communicate their implications to relevant teams.
