Introduction
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Driver to join our Aftersales Multi Brand Service team. The role involves providing efficient transport services, ensuring secure parking of customer vehicles, and supporting workshop and service operations in line with CMK guidelines.
Job Purpose
To deliver safe, reliable, and timely transport services while ensuring vehicles are handled with care, secured appropriately, and moved efficiently within designated areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely pick up and drop off customers, ensuring a positive customer satisfaction experience.
- Park customer vehicles securely in designated areas, ensuring all windows are up and doors locked.
- Liaise with the workshop management team to pick and deliver customer vehicles.
- Assist in parking yard management to maintain smooth traffic flow.
- Support sublet operations by moving vehicles and components to suppliers or branch locations.
- Conduct road tests with the service manager to check mechanical and electrical roadworthiness.
- Move vehicles for events, branch transfers, or sublets in coordination with sales departments.
- Facilitate servicing, repairs, insurance renewal, and retrofits for company vehicles.
- Schedule maintenance of company vehicles promptly to minimize breakdowns.
- Apply Kaizen principles to improve work processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- O’ Level education certificate.
- Valid driving licence (minimum class BCE) and a certificate in defensive driving.
- Fluency in English.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience driving passenger and heavy commercial vehicles.
Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan roadcraft, highways, and transport policy.
- Driving expertise with basic mechanical knowledge.
- Good interpersonal, time management, and customer service skills.
- High integrity, ethics, and focus on results.
