The organization is seeking a dedicated and passionate Program Support Specialist – Youth to be based in either Mombasa, Kisumu, or Meru, Kenya. This is a full-time, field-based role ideal for individuals who are committed to holistic child and youth development and who can contribute to the effective implementation of life-changing programs in partnership with local communities and church-based initiatives.
The position is designed for professionals with experience in youth program coordination who are eager to work closely with local stakeholders, support program delivery, and ensure positive outcomes for children and youth. The specialist will operate under the guidance of supervisors or senior professionals, contributing their knowledge and enthusiasm while continuing to develop in their field.

Position Summary
The Program Support Specialist – Youth will assist in the development, coordination, and execution of child development programs and interventions. While the role requires initiative and responsibility, it also offers an opportunity to learn from more experienced professionals and contribute meaningfully to the organization’s mission. The position focuses on supporting program implementation in specific areas of expertise and consolidating feedback and data to improve the quality and effectiveness of youth-focused initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Faith and Advocacy
- Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, serving as a consistent witness to His teachings and embodying Christian values in all interactions.
- Act as an advocate to increase awareness of the needs of children and youth.
- Prioritize child protection in all decisions, activities, and engagements, strictly adhering to the organization’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct.
- Promptly report any concerns regarding abuse, neglect, or exploitation of children using the organization’s internal channels and support appropriate responses.
- Program Support and Community Engagement
- Contribute to the work of partnership facilitators, cross-functional staff, and managers within the assigned area of specialty.
- Support community learning and improvement in child development through collaboration with staff and other stakeholders.
- Assist Christian community leaders in championing transformative initiatives within their communities.
- Contribute to special initiatives as directed by supervisors.
- Program Delivery and Data Management
- Assist in delivering programming in a specific area of expertise.
- Consolidate local program data to identify recurring gaps and patterns that may require intervention.
- Maintain and support the execution of strategies that align with global objectives and local needs.
- Ensure that Frontline Church Partners receive the necessary information and resources to offer holistic development to caregivers, children, and youth.
- Monitoring and Resource Allocation
- Provide accurate and timely information to management and decision-makers regarding resource allocation.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring holistic child development strategies and interventions.
- Collaborate with partnership facilitators to ensure intervention records, reports, and other documentation are complete, accurate, and delivered to stakeholders.
- Reporting and Program Improvement
- Prepare data, reports, and insights to support managers and stakeholders in refining program initiatives and interventions.
- Monitor Child Survival Programs (CSPs) and, where applicable, manage CSP budgets.
- Provide curriculum and training material support to mothers based on established programs.
- Regularly prepare and submit reports to governmental authorities in line with regulatory requirements.

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing and delivering youth programs.
Licenses and Certifications
- None required.
- Equivalent education, training, or certification may be considered in place of formal experience and education.
Working Environment
- Standard office environment with regular interaction in the field.
Physical Demands
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 8 hours per day.
Travel Requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel 25% to 30% of the time as part of regular duties.
