Job Description: Country Training Lead – Clean Cooking
The Country Training Lead will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness and reach of Sun King’s clean cooking programs. The position involves overseeing the development, design, delivery, and monitoring of all training activities related to the clean cooking product line. Key Responsibilities
- Training Strategy Development and Implementation
- Develop and oversee the clean cooking training strategy in alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with the product team to ensure training modules are updated with current and relevant product knowledge.
- Continuously adapt training materials to reflect changes in product features, market dynamics, and customer needs.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams
- Work closely with the clean cooking product team to co-create and revise training materials.
- Partner with the training team to plan and supervise both classroom training sessions and digital training via the organization’s learning management system (LMS), such as Litmos.
- Engage with sales and operations teams to ensure smooth roll-out and readiness for new product initiatives.
- Performance Measurement and Reporting
- Utilize internal business intelligence systems to track and analyze the performance of sales and collections related to clean cooking.
- Provide timely reports on training outcomes, including classroom attendance, online course completion rates, and test scores.
- Share training results with sales and management teams to highlight areas of improvement and success.
- Coaching and Capacity Building
- Provide coaching and mentorship to regional mentors and zonal team managers (ZTMs).
- Facilitate training of trainers (TOT) sessions for country-level teams to enhance training effectiveness at all levels.
- Use training feedback tools to collect and act upon insights raised by field teams.
- Cross-functional Engagement
- Partner with the call center team to evaluate customer feedback and identify areas requiring refresher training.
- Collaborate with the optimization and operations teams to ensure timely distribution and product readiness before training is conducted.
- Training Content Evaluation and Auditing
- Analyze training data to identify opportunities for content improvement and increased effectiveness.
- Conduct audits to assess learner understanding and measure training impact.
- Continuously refine training delivery to align with learner needs and organizational goals.
- Travel and Field Support
- Provide on-the-ground support to sales and training teams through regular field visits.
- Ensure compliance with pilot programs and product roll-out measures in different regions.
Candidate Profile
The organization is seeking a candidate with the following competencies and experiences:
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of five years of experience leading training for field-based selling teams.
- Strong proficiency in navigating and managing learning management systems (LMS), such as Litmos or Moodle.
- Experience in the clean energy sector is desirable but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
- Strong facilitation skills with a solid understanding of adult learning principles.
