Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:
Person Specifications: For appointment to this grade, an Officer must have:
- Cumulative service period of six (6) years relevant work experience, three (3) of which should have been at the grade of Planning Officer I or in a comparable position.
- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines; Economics, Project Planning and Management, Strategic Management, Business Administration, Management or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Membership to a relevant professional body, where applicable and in good standing.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Shown merit and ability in as reflected in work performance and results.
Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:
- Participating in developing the Corporate Strategic Plan (CSP).
- Reviewing the Authority’s annual operating plan.
- Monitoring and evaluating PC performance indicators.
- Reviewing collected evidence for PC evaluation.
- Preparing quarterly and annual reports on the PC implementation.
- Preparing feedback to departments.
- Participating in developing Performance Contracts (PC).
