Social Enterprise Advisor, Sisters Blended Value Project (SBVP)

The Social Enterprise Advisor is a part-time consultancy role designed to provide expert advisory services and technical support to Catholic Sisters managing enterprises across various sectors, including agriculture, healthcare, education, hospitality, manufacturing, fashion and design, and retail. The Advisor will play a crucial role in ensuring that these enterprises achieve both financial sustainability and measurable social impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored advisory support to congregations managing social enterprises, with a focus on refining business models and strengthening governance.
- Guide enterprises in improving operational efficiency, risk management, and alignment with social impact objectives.
- Facilitate access to financing, partnerships, and market linkages to help enterprises scale effectively.
- Work with the SBVP Monitoring & Evaluation team to track enterprise progress, document learnings, and develop impact reports.
- Offer technical expertise on sustainability practices that enhance both social and financial outcomes.
- Support capacity-building efforts within congregations, equipping them with practical business knowledge and tools for long-term success.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, or Malawi, depending on project needs, to deliver context-specific advisory solutions.
