Currently, Poa! is recruiting for two key roles: Junior Systems and Support Engineer and Cyber Security Engineer. These positions play an essential role in maintaining the integrity of our infrastructure and ensuring that our customers enjoy seamless and secure internet access.
Position 1: Junior Systems and Support Engineer
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Level: Entry Level
Department: Internet Services
As a Junior Systems and Support Engineer, you will be part of the technical team responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Poa!’s IT systems and infrastructure. This is an entry-level role designed for individuals with a strong interest in technology and a drive to develop their expertise in systems management and IT support.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and support IT systems and infrastructure to ensure continuous uptime and performance.
- Provide technical support to internal teams, diagnosing and resolving software, hardware, and connectivity issues.
- Assist in deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting operating systems, networks, and applications.
- Escalate complex technical challenges to senior engineers and work collaboratively to resolve them.
- Document processes, system updates, and resolutions for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in testing and implementing new technologies and system upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, security protocols, and industry best practices.
