1. Senior Recovery Manager – Corporate Recoveries

Job Description

The Senior Recovery Manager – Corporate Recoveries will be responsible for leading a team of corporate recovery managers in evaluating, developing, and monitoring recovery action plans for non-performing large corporate accounts. The position requires balancing recovery at minimal costs while ensuring strict compliance with credit policies and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the corporate recoveries team to deliver on the recovery targets of large corporate accounts.
  • Develop and execute recovery strategies that ensure effective resolution of non-performing accounts.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of recovery action plans and make timely recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with the Group’s credit policies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with other internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve complex recovery cases.
  • Regularly report on the portfolio performance and escalate key risks to senior management.

2. Head, Fundraising – KCB Foundation

Job Description

The Head, Fundraising is a pivotal leadership role within KCB Foundation, responsible for spearheading fundraising efforts across countries in East and Central Africa. The position will involve developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure financial support and partnerships from diverse sources, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of a robust fundraising strategy to support KCB Foundation’s mission.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders to ensure sustainable resource mobilization.
  • Identify new funding opportunities and partnerships to expand the Foundation’s impact.
  • Coordinate cross-country fundraising initiatives and ensure alignment with the Foundation and Group strategic objectives.
  • Oversee donor engagement, communication, and reporting to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Lead and mentor the fundraising team to enhance performance and drive results.
  • Collaborate with KCB Group teams to integrate fundraising into the broader Group CSR and sustainability agenda.

3. Senior Manager – Public Relations and Corporate Communications

Job Description

Reporting to the Head, Corporate & Stakeholder Relations, the Senior Manager – Public Relations and Corporate Communications will be responsible for developing and implementing high-impact communication and PR strategies. The role aims to build and sustain a strong corporate image and reputation for the KCB Group brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement effective public relations and corporate communication strategies that reinforce the Group’s brand and reputation.
  • Manage media relations, including proactive engagement, press releases, and crisis communications.
  • Oversee content creation for internal and external communication channels to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Support leadership in thought leadership initiatives, including speeches, articles, and public appearances.
  • Monitor media trends, public sentiment, and competitor activity to inform communication strategies.
  • Manage communication campaigns that support business objectives and stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide leadership to the PR and communications team, ensuring innovation and excellence in service delivery.

4. Monitoring & Evaluation Manager

Job Description

The Monitoring and Evaluation Manager will report to the Project Manager and provide leadership in the development and implementation of project/region-specific Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) frameworks. This role will ensure that programs are effectively tracked, assessed, and improved through robust monitoring and evaluation systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement MEAL frameworks and tools tailored to specific projects and regions.
  • Lead day-to-day monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities, ensuring data integrity and quality.
  • Provide technical support and capacity building to project teams on MEAL methodologies.
  • Analyze data and generate timely reports to inform decision-making and program improvement.
  • Promote a culture of evidence-based learning within project teams and the wider organization.
  • Support impact assessments and evaluation studies to demonstrate program outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accountability and transparency in project delivery.

5. Branch Manager – Nanyuki Branch

Job Description

The Branch Manager will report to the Regional Business Manager and will be responsible for providing leadership, management, and oversight of the Nanyuki branch. This role encompasses driving branch growth and profitability, ensuring operational efficiency, managing risks, and embedding a strong culture of customer service and sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall operations and strategic direction of the branch to achieve business targets.
  • Drive business development initiatives to grow the branch’s market share and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with operational policies, risk management guidelines, and regulatory standards.
  • Foster a strong customer service culture to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage and motivate branch staff to deliver exceptional performance and teamwork.
  • Monitor and evaluate branch performance, implementing corrective measures where necessary.
  • Represent the bank within the Nanyuki region, maintaining strong community and stakeholder relationships.
