Requirements for Appointment

- Educational Requirement
Candidates must have obtained a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Mean Grade of D plain or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. - Driving License
Applicants must hold a valid driving license free from any current endorsement(s). The license must cover the class(es) of vehicles that the officer will be required to drive. - First Aid Certification

- Driving motor vehicles as authorized and directed by the responsible officer.
- Carrying out routine checks on vehicles, including the cooling system, oil levels, electrical system, and brake system, to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintaining work tickets for assigned vehicles, capturing details of usage, mileage, fuel consumption, and service records.
- Ensuring the security and safety of vehicles both on and off the road.
- Safeguarding the safety of passengers and goods being transported.
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentable condition of vehicles at all times.

Terms of Service
The Driver II, CSG 1 position offers the following terms of service:
- Salary Scale: Kshs. 19,340 – 24,470 per month
- House Allowance: As per the region of deployment
- Commuter Allowance: Kshs. 3,000 per month
- Leave Allowance: Kshs. 4,000 per year
