General Overview

The AML and Regulatory Compliance Officer will be responsible for establishing and embedding compliance within the designated area of responsibility. Regular reporting of compliance breaches to line management and the Senior Compliance Officer/Compliance Executive will be part of the role. Additionally, the officer will support the mitigation of compliance risks, provide guidance on the limited legislation applicable to the business, and assess the potential impact of regulations on the business unit or functional area.


Key Responsibilities

Regulatory and Compliance Management

The AML and Regulatory Compliance Officer will be expected to investigate incidents and reports of non-compliance and provide expert advice to senior colleagues. A central duty will be to minimize risk exposures and maintain adherence to regulatory standards. This will involve collaborating with internal functions to ensure compliance programs are fully and effectively implemented. By doing so, the officer will help to safeguard the organization against regulatory breaches and reputational risks.
