The Kenya National Innovation Agency (KeNIA) is a State Corporation established under the Science, Technology and Innovation Act, No. 28 of 2013, with the mandate to develop and manage the National Innovation System. The Agency plays a central role in promoting, coordinating, and strengthening innovation development, collaboration, and commercialization in Kenya.
To effectively deliver on its mandate, the Agency invites qualified, competent, and motivated individuals to apply for various positions as detailed below. INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY OFFICER II – KENIA GRADE 8 (Post 1)

The ICT Officer II will provide technical support for the Agency’s information systems and ensure the reliability, integrity, and security of ICT infrastructure.
Job Description
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and network systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for users across all departments.
- Manage and maintain servers, databases, and email systems.
- Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and system security protocols are implemented.
- Support the development and maintenance of the Agency’s website and digital platforms.
- Monitor system performance and optimize ICT operations.
- Assist in the development of ICT policies and implementation of ICT projects.
- Maintain inventories of ICT equipment and software licenses.
- Conduct user training and awareness programs on ICT systems.
