Job Description
| Primary Purpose and Scope the Job (Job Role)-To welcome, sit, take & serve food and beverage orders to our guests in a friendly, timely manner and ensure a clean environment in accordance to Java service standards |
| Duties and Responsibilities: |
| Presenting a variety of menu options and take lead on suggestive selling based on customer preferences.Handling customer interactions at various levels of customer touch points.Assist the guest navigate through the menu comfortably- Inform guests of menu changes, daily specials and assist the guest navigate through the menu comfortably.Taking orders and delivering them to the table neatly and accurately in accordance to the ticket specification.Present menus to guests and answer questions about menu items, beverages, and other restaurant functions and services.Monitor and observe guests dining experience to ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service respond promptly and courteously to address any guest concern ¬ify the manager.Collaborate with other team members to ensure a positive customer experience.Ensuring there is enough change at all times.Maintaining shift float money and ensuring no shortages.Timely closure of counter variances.Taking care of counter machines.Present bills on time and accept payment.Ordering of items in Vuka for the store.Receiving of items from Food scape/ any other supplier.Keying in of orders in the POS.Receiving orders from the aggregator tabsPacking and dispatching the orders to the guestsTable clearance and clean counters after guests have finished dining.Ensure general cleaning of the restaurant is done and the highest hygiene standards are upheld.Communicating any R&M or IT issues to the Area Manager.Closing duties of the branch. |

| SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT |
| Should have a sound menu and product knowledge.Should have a KCSE certificate mean grade of C plain.Should have been in the company for at least six months or have equivalent skills from a food and beverage set up. |
