Hilde Back Education Fund (HBEF) is a Kenyan charitable organization that helps provide children from low-income families complete secondary school education in Kenya.

The fund’s main focus is to make education a fundamental human right. By awarding various academic scholarships, bright children from disadvantaged backgrounds receive the support they need to achieve proper education, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, and gender.

Application for the 2026 scholarship program is open!

To complete your application:

1. Download the scholarship form below.
2. Print the Scholarship Form.
3. Email your complete application form and all required documents to [email protected] and [email protected].
4. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.

Scholarship Qualification Requirements:

1. Applicant must be a Kenyan Citizen.
2. Must have scored a summative average of 63 points (Exceeding Expectation 2).
3. Must have attended a Public Junior and Primary School.
4. Must be from a humble background.
