Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Programme/Administrative Officer, the Intern will:
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Programme team
- Assist with office coordination, scheduling meetings, and preparing documents
- Support procurement, travel arrangements, and logistics coordination
- Maintain records, files, and databases
- Assist in drafting correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Support programme implementation activities related to transnational organized crime and illicit trafficking
Qualifications / Special Skills
- Enrolled in or recently completed a university degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, International Relations, Criminology, Political Science, or a related field
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and in a multicultural environment
- Interest in UNODC mandates is an added advantage
Languages
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required
- Knowledge of another UN language is an advantage
