Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the relevant UNEP unit, the Knowledge Management and Information Technology Intern will support information management, digital systems, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the organization, storage, and management of digital information and knowledge resources.
- Assist in maintaining and updating internal knowledge management platforms and systems.
- Support data collection, documentation, and information classification processes.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of digital tools, dashboards, and content repositories.
- Assist in troubleshooting basic IT and information system issues.
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and knowledge products.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives related to information workflows.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support effective information sharing and digital collaboration.
- Perform any other related duties as required in support of UNEP’s mandate.
Additional Information
This internship is designed to provide practical exposure to knowledge management and information technology functions within an international organization. Interns gain hands-on experience while supporting UNEP’s mission and day-to-day operations.
