Youth unemployment is a key contributor to the challenges currently facing the young people in the country and Murang’a County in particular.
To address this unique challenge, the County Government initiated the Murang’a Youth Service (MYS) a program that intends to offer direct short term employment and targeted short courses to the youths for a period of three Months.
After the employment and short courses training, successful youths will be issued with a grant as seed capital for self-employment.
The recruitment process into the MYS is a transparent exercise and individuals seeking to benefit from the program are invited to participate in the indicated venues:
