Expected Duration

Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of a designated officer, the Intern will support activities related to sustainable energy solutions in the built environment. Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Supporting research and analysis on sustainable energy use, energy efficiency, and low-carbon solutions within the built environment.
- Assisting in the preparation of technical documents, concept notes, briefs, presentations, and reports related to sustainable energy initiatives.
- Supporting data collection, compilation, and basic analysis for projects focusing on energy and buildings.
- Assisting in the coordination of meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements related to sustainable energy and urban development.
- Supporting monitoring and documentation of project activities and progress.
- Contributing to knowledge management activities, including organizing technical information and maintaining project records.
- Assisting with communication and outreach activities related to sustainable energy programmes.
- Collaborating with team members across UN-Habitat units to support integrated programme delivery.
- Performing any other duties as assigned in support of departmental objectives.
