Position Summary:

  • Verify that training and development activities align with the organization’s mission and vision.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of brand and service-related training programs.
  • Support the planning and execution of key learning delivery and leadership development activities.
  • Facilitate on-property training for hourly associates, supervisors, and leaders, including core required training and brand training.
  • Stay updated on brand and leadership development tools and resources.
  • Assist leaders with their development and resource needs as requested.
  • Monitor compliance with required training, including new hire training and brand initiatives.
  • Collaborate with human resources and operations leaders to ensure compliance with all training requirements.
  • Utilize learning technology platforms and manage Learning Coordinator responsibilities to meet the hotel’s training needs.
  • Participate in the Field Trainer Network and collaborate with the continent learning organization to implement updated programs and processes at the hotel.
  • Develop training aids and multimedia tools for effective training delivery.
  • Order and manage inventory of training materials and supplies.
  • Prepare for training classes, including material preparation, class setup, and breakdown.

  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance, following uniform and grooming standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with others and accurately prepare and review written documents.

  • Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs and assist individuals with disabilities.

  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during work shifts.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by management.
