Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience.
  • Competency in computer use for inventory management and customer transactions.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • High levels of professionalism, confidentiality, initiative, energy, flexibility, and creativity.
  • A Certificate or Diploma in Interior Design is desirable.

Responsibilities:

As a Shop Attendant at NAKS Home Decorators, you will play a vital role in our mission to provide exceptional interior design and decoration solutions to our valued customers. Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  1. Customer Assistance: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Provide expert advice and guidance on our interior products, helping them make informed decisions that meet their needs and preferences.
  2. Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of our product range, including carpets, curtains, curtain rods, and installation services. Stay up to date with the latest trends and industry developments to better serve customers.
  3. Sales: Promote our products and services to customers, effectively closing sales to meet or exceed sales targets. Cross-sell and upsell products where applicable to enhance the customer experience and maximize revenue.
  4. Inventory Management: Use computer systems to manage inventory and track product availability. Ensure products are well-organized and restocked as needed to provide a seamless shopping experience for customers.
  5. Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries, address concerns, and assist with product returns or exchanges as necessary. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service.
  6. Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing store environment. Ensure that products are well-displayed and that the store is welcoming to customers.
  7. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, including fellow Shop Attendants and management, to ensure a smooth and efficient shopping experience for customers. Share product knowledge and best practices with your colleagues.
  8. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, interior design techniques, and new product offerings. Attend training sessions and seek opportunities for personal and professional development.
